Malcom and Manuel join Edgars
Luyobo Malcom and Luyobo Manuel have joined Edgars Youth Programme(EYP).The two kids who are pupils at Little Cranes
and Kampala Parents respectively are now fully players of Edgars signed for weekend Programme and holiday.
EYP coaches welcomes the two players in the Academy and the boys believe they will
enjoy their stay at EYP as they meet new friends. Malcom 3, likes cars as well as soccer while his brother Manuel 5, likes

Edgars
Youth Programme (EYP) Under 16 years boys team has confirmed a match with JOGOO young scheduled on Saturday 26th February
2011 at Aga Khan Primary school field starting at 10am. Coach Hassan Mubiru the in charge of the team said that this was a
good challenge for the team since JOGOO Young competes in the Big League and is still a contender in the Uganda Cup that has
reached the round of 32. EYP Players in the U16 Team have all rejoined their academic schools and will be expected to team
up for the Task ahead.
EYP wishes to organise such matches
to give extra challenge to those enrolled as shall be seen in future.

YOUTH PROGRAMME (EYP) joins the entire Ugandan community to mourn the death of the late Nyagweso Francis who died on Sunday
13th February 2011 at Mulago Hospital.The Late has been an Interational Olympic committee Member and former
President of the Uganda Olympic Committee.EYP Team Leader Mr. Edgar Watson (who is a delegate in the UOC Assembly) had a chat
with the late on Saturday 12th February 2011 at Grand Imperial Hotel where the Late commended the activities
of EYP towards the Youth. He even advised that Olympic solidarity had programs towards Talent Identification which could be
beneficial to EYP Youths.
It is sad !!!!
The Entire community of EYP Mourns the Death and calls upon the Almight
Lord to rest his soul in eternal Peace.
Edgars (EYP) off till Monday 21st February 2011
All Programs have been put off due to the Presidential elections that are to take place on 18th February 2011. EYP
is not a political organisation but has to stop activities during this period. Three Parents whose children are enrolled are
involved at the Top level Political Post Campaigns but EYP Policy does not allow to mention their names as it would be percieved
as campaigning. However we wish them all the best and hope the elections in Uganda get on well. Programs resume Monday 21st
February 2011.

Edgars to cheer Uganda National Team

Edgars Youth Programme
will cheer Cranes at Namboole stadium during its first AFCON qualifier match. Uganda Cranes will play against Angola national
team The Negros at namboole on 04th August in the African Cup of nations group stage qualifiers.
Other teams in the group include Kenya and Guines Bissau who also play their first match on Saturday. Uganda needs
to win all its home games and also a must win away two games to qualify for the finals. Uganda last qualified for the finals
in 1978 where we lost to Ghana 2-1 in the finals. We at Edgars shall rally behind Cranes and wish them the best of luck, lets
go Uganda Cranes!

coaches of "Licence E" of the USA coaching curriculum. The coaches attended a week long course at old Kampala conducted

The U13 Academy Team played a friendly match against Catalonia FC, which resulted in a 3 all
draw. Karl Martin scored all 3 EYP-goals! Lwanayaga Hassan was voted man of the match for his outstanding goal keeping! The
coach saw some good performances, these kind of friendlies are important to gauge their strengths. Keep it up boys!
