EDGAR TO WATCH WORLD CUP 2010 OPENING MATCH

Coach Edgar Watson Edgars team Leader is among the fans to attend the Opening Match of the world Cup 2010 which begins
today 11th June 2010.The opening match in Johannesburg 11th June 2010 between hosts South Africa and Mexico at 5pm. Coach Edgar left on
monday and arrived safely and eager to attend the Bafana Bafana game. This is the second time Coach Edgar travels to watch
the World cup games,the first time was 2006 in Germany when Edgars Youth Programme took a group of young players to Cologne
for an exchange program. In his remarks,coach Edgar says "i am in South Africa and the morale is so high the fans
are blowing the trumpets and ready to fill the stadium to watch the game i also want to learn new ideas which will help Edgars
Youth Programme as well as Uganda at large". Am a,omh those attended the CAF/FIFA congress where i met CAF/FIFA administrators
like FIFA President Sept Blatter as well CAF President Issa Hayatou and mant football stars who were great footballers.

GREAT DAY AS
KARL MARTIN GETS A BLAZE
Birds in the air flying while praising his name;
The waters in the field spirkling around rejoicing for him;
Players celebrating because of him;
Coaches gaining confidence in the Academy team because of him.
The left footed German,
aga khan young dazzling Karl Martin;
One of the pioneers of Edgars Youth Programme;
A player who is good at eating pizza,
but at the end of the
day finishes all the three in the net, lovely.
He has always asked his
fellow players to pass over the ball
for if there is a chance to score, he does so as if not in the field
but only to realise when he is making use of his great left
foot
on the
left side of the field, and for him more in the brain than in the muscles.
On his behalf I do dedicate his hat trick to
coaches Dan, Edgar and Peter
for the good work done
way back on Buganda Road dusty field.

Martin Netzer is one of the most promising players who can play all positions especially with his
left foot. Of late he tries to use his right foot and we coaches are monitoring this to ensure he uses both legs effectivelyKarl

Karl Martin Bastian Schweinsteiger Netzer is a pupil of Aga Khan Primary school.
Father is Mr. Walter Netzer,
and has three sisters. He stays at Nakasero and loves to eat a pizza. Martin wears size 40.
Best goal scored was a free kick
and he is an all round player including being in goal as a Goal keeper. Martin supports FC Bayern Munchen (Germany)
The message
he has for the Youths is to pass the ball to teammates whenever the chance is there and not to be selfish with the ball. 'Don’t
also play rough to other players while on the field.'

What Martins Parent says
Madam Shida Fatuma Netzer is mother of Martin, a sales Manager and asks the young ones not to play rough to each
other. She advises Parents to let their children play football.
She admires the way Edgars Youth Programme coaches train the players.
She says
Martin has really improved in his playing ways
