Candidates
and all students preparing for End of year Exams here are some Tips!!!
1. Start early!
An "all-nighter" is
the least effective way to study for a test/exam. Cramming for an exam or test is like not eating for two weeks then
trying to eat all those missed meals in one sitting. You can't digest that much food at once. You can't
digest that much information at once either. Schedule several study sessions before an exam or test. Repetition is
the key to remembering.
2. Never miss the class before an exam!
The class period
before an exam or test is when you'll find out what the test will be like. Find out as much as possible: - what will
it cover? - will it be objective, essay or both? - how much will each type of question be worth? - how much
time will you have to complete the test?
3. Learning the important information!
Using your class notes and your highlighted textbook, make flash cards with facts, definitions, people, dates,
events, lists, etc. The act of writing the information on the cards will help you remember it. Each time
you go through the stack of cards, you are transferring the information from your short term memory into your long
term memory. If you are an auditory learner, study with a partner who can ask you the questions or give
the answers aloud to yourself.
Always be attentive and listen when in class-Coach Local
02.03.10
My advise to
up coming players is always to be attentive when there is a lesson, be in class or in a coaching session. Some of the youth
these days know much but fail to put it into practice. I have seen many local players doing things wrongly because they dont
listen and do not seek proper advise.
We at Edgars shall try
our level best to see that you get the best advise and the Youth must always have the love for the game, without love
for the game you will not succeed.
I always preach to the youth
to love the local league where they have to start their football career in case they are to continue with the game. The local
league is so nice since you can see them live than those you watch
on Tv, I always say charity begins at home. Coach Elijah(Local) Rabwoni

Seggie's Message to Students
A New year
has come with its resolution for a bright future and as students, coping with a number of challange is a bit complex but try
the following mechanism and you shall become a Winner in life;
WINNERS MECHANISM
- Prioritizing (what do I need to know most)
- Read (everything made available to
you, and seek out more; but don't put months of reading between you and getting started doing things.)
- Multithreading (when blocked on one item or path, is there another I can productively pursue?)
- Pursuing multiple, possible solution techniques (maybe some have easier/less blocks
paths than others)
- Wishful thinking (ok, let's assume this subproblem is solved,
does that allow me to go on and solve other problems?)
- Pester people who might have some
of the information you need (you might think they should know what you need to know, but often they don't have a
clear idea of what you do and don't know; start by getting them to give you pointers to things you can use to help
yourself. Show respect for their time and always follow up on the resources you've been given before asking for a personal
explanation.)
- Propose working models --- maybe they are wrong or different from others,
but they give you something to work with and something concrete to discuss and compare with others. You will refine your
models continually, but it's good to have something concrete in mind to work with.
Losers will
stop the first time they run into something they don't know, cannot solve a problem, or encounter trouble slightly out of
what they consider ``their part'' of the problem and then offer excuses for why they cannot make any progress.
Winners
consider the whole problem theirs and look for paths around every hangup.
Losers make sure there is someone or something to blame for their lack of progress.
Winners
find ways to make progress despite complications.
Losers know all the reasons it cannot be done
Winners find a way to do it.

Coach Bukenya Joseph(Pastor)'s
Message to youth
The great break through in life comes when you realise that you can learn any
thing you need to learn to accomplish any goal that you set for your self. This means there are no limits on what you can
be or achieve.
And there are three ingredients in a good life, Learning,Earning and Yearning, so yearn for success
for its like a rowing upstream advance or Lose all.
COACH EDGARS' MESSAGE TO THE
YOUTH
Dear my youth players,
I wish to advise you to prioritise every thing that you do especially when it comes
talent say football, you have to be patient,be with good temper, the best of Discipline and team work spirit to succeed.
The other thing you to have in mind is respect for one another
for this will take you to great heights.
ENJOY THE BEST OF THE SCHOOL TERM GOOD LUCK
COACH BUKENYA JOSEPH (PASTOR)
Every new year comes with a lot of resolutions and as Term one studies have resumed,i wish to advise you to make
informed decision that will bring success and always be:-
- God Loving and caring to all people of all walks of life
- Be displined and obedient
to reach greater heights
- Be confident and be a team player so that you share good ideals that
can develop your personalities
- Be prepared as success comes to the most prepared mind
- Have a sense of pursuing
I
WISH YOU GOOD LUCK
I do understand it was some hard and tight experience to all of you, however, you have managed to overcome
it though the results are not yet released. At least you have accomplished the first set in your education career!! If so
that is lovely! There is still much to do as regards your education career so do not give up because the higher you go!!!
And if it is like so you need to relax, it is time to play, the program is on. In the next level of education, this is where
academics and sport are key issues and when you do not perfect some skills for instance controlling, dribbling, passing, and
shooting the ball you will never get it cause for you to balance the two you need to handle one first in this grace period
as you wait for the next year to set a good pace for academics. Remember a soccer player is loved most when he/she is good
in academics.
Coach Fred's Advice to Candidates
Dear Candidates,
I know Exams are forthcoming and i wish to advice you to make good preparation,do intensive revision with a lot of
consultation ( Teacher students ),also have enough rest to allow recomposition of minds
On the day of the Exams, just be Confident and precise when answering the Exams
for good time maximisation.

Coach Seggie's
Advise to Holiday Makers
I welcome you back from
school, and wish to advise you to always be Displined, avoid bad groups and i encourage youth players to turn up for the holiday
so as to maintain performance levels and to improve more
Youth players, recall that displine and committement is the Key to every successful man.
Holiday philosophy "Politeness costs nothing but oils
the wheels of your life"
Coach Seggie: Advise for travel team
Players who travel long distances to play a match need to know some basic requirements as members of the team (or
family). Always move in a group or team, and ensure all the team members are within the group. Ask permission if you want
to go somewhere, know the name of your residential place and telephone number if possible. Pleas be conscious of your
own security - if you everybody takes care of its own safety, the team will be safe as well. Please avoid moving alone
while on soccer trips - you can get lost or get into problems without any one to assist.
Have a safe journey and enjoy!
